Ghh... I've beeen so lazy lately, it's terrible - and depressing in it's very own way *sigh* oh I'm depressed anyway, because I am artblocked at the moment, but luckily I still had to do the background on this nice little piccie :3

Anyway, this is my part of the Art Trade with *Shanella She did such a sweet job on her part and she did it so fast, I'm impressed. Therefore... sorry for being so lazy in the last seven days I just had to finish off the background for one week now and yeah... laaazy me was playing Nostale with my sister during the last days. Too bad this time is over for the next three weeks now but oh well I'll stop complaining right now orz

Humm yeah, I sketched this two weeks back when I was staying at =Chibi-Cosmo's place with =Amarena-Berry and :devmariah-Acorn: and we were watching Shutter and The Grudge 2 while I was sketching. And damn, I tried to catch all of Shan's details, but I'm not sure if I did everything right o-o; She's such a detailled character and yeah, I knew from the beginning that it would be a bit difficult but... since I chose the character by myself... let's say I wanted to have a challenge xD
The idea with the ice came up in my mind after I finished the shading, I actually thought about putting her in front of a multicolored church window in the first place (I always wanted to draw something like that and one day I will). Then her blueish colors convinced me to do something more... simple and cold colored, since with more warm colors and even more details the picture would have been much too detailled. The northern light was a random idea, because I usually place a moon there and that is getting more than just odd *drop*

I don't think that I have to say much more. I just noticed that her shoes - and the position of her feet and stuff - such as the lenght of her legs look odd as well. I think they look too long and yes, I bet she's too tall at all, but screw it. On the sketch they looked too short, I shortened them in Photoshop, and now they are too long. Irony. Ah *sigh* I still like this picture a lot :3 Cold pictures in the summer, so I guess I should draw a summer pic with a beach scene in the winter lol. Then again... the weather is not that summer like at the moment at all *looks to evil thunderstorm clouds* Don't screw the meeting again D:<

Anyways, I'm off for cooking, watching tv and sketching and I should definately check and answer my messages as soon as possible. But now you know that I am still alive C:
