Today's the last day of my workpractise *sob* and I actually finished this off yesterday. You know, actually I wanted to finish =Reverbarance's commission first, but after seeing Photoshop all day long at workpractise I did not feel like doing something like this afterwards in the little bits of freetime. Other than that I enjoyed doing something traditional once more and yes, life needs a ctrg+z function *drop*

Anyhow, I think that the whole coloring came out pretty good and I tried to add some more highlights in form of leaving out white parts on one side. Furthermore I tried to make a mix out of cell shading and soft shading, which did not work, so it's more soft shaded in total (at least that's my impression of it).
However, I still think that I drew Katty a little bit too big (exspecially the legs turned out to be... tall... very tall) and I did not add shoes in it because ... socks are awesome >:3
Oh well... and I lack a hot pink polychromo, therefore I impovised and mixed red tones with pink tones to bet it al least a bit right. I also did not have a fitting polychormo for her furr, so this part is mixed up of several brown tones as well and does not look the same in all parts of the picture ^^'
My favourite part of the picture is still the head and the hair up there. It really was the first time that I had to draw a pony like this and I really thought I would fail at it, but it is okay =w=
Oh and it's a little bit Photoshop'd again, because even if my scanner did an unusal good job this time I was not satisfied with the brown. But this time I only used another layer witht he funktion "darken" and blurred it a bit in total and all of the annoying white sports are gone. The result came close to the original one lol :3
And now let's get to the point why I think life needs a ctrg+z function :/ Her vectors wasn't meant to be bloody (god, this blood does not look like blood at all orz), but usually I use a really small paper sheet to do not smude parts of the picture. Because of my fan in landed on the ground in a tiny bit of chocolate = =; I did not noticed, put it on the paper and well... BLOTS. It would've looked even more shitty if I would had let it be that way, therefore I decided to try out adding blood on them and parts of the background as well. Holy flying cow orz
But besides that unlucky accident I am quite satisfied with it :3 Today I'm going to send it to her place and I hope it will arrive tomorrow xD;

So... that's all xD I got to go to work practise in an half hour (and leave my beloved fan at home oAo *worships it*), but I'll try to finish of a sketch there today :/ I want to make =Reverbarance's commission as soon as possible, she already had to wait for so long orz

Oh and btw, Kiriban is close :3 Just... 3k or something like that left lol.
