Holy Crap, *Chibi-Metal produced an Anime-Fail picture for the Drawing Day 2009.

Yeah, I personally think that I totally failed : D My intention was... to do some serious Anime Style pactise, and it actually turned out to be one. I mean, I spend two weeks on this picture, more than one and a half on the character only and I'm still not that satisfied - but also kinda fed up with the picture itself, too :/

It was like... okay... when I finished the sketch I was quite satisfied with it and I decided to finish this picture for the Drawing Day, since I scrapped the other one. That was two weeks ago when I was at my grandmother's in the afternoon and I was actually just sketching around random things. Well, I couldn't believe that the result could be something like a wannabe Elfen Lied FanCharacter to be honest, but okay o o; Probably she'll be part of some kind of story I'll write with =ShadowSinty and =katty94, we'll see :/ And yeah, she's unnamed till today, I don't seem to come up with any good name till now orz Any suggestions?

Okay... I already noticed that proportions in Anime Pictures are quite hard (if you're used to draw Sonic Characters like I am). I inked this one without the pen tool and it took me several hours... After inking and main coloring it... I noticed that the head was way too big and scaled it... Now where the picture is 'finished' I still think that the head is too big, but it's kinda too late to change it. I tried it, but... it ruined the whole picture. Because of that I let it be like this.

The second thing I'm always not that happy about are the hands but well... The finger nails I added with a slightly darker color than the skin (I'm not very good at drawing finger nails) now totally dissappeared somehow and the hands remind me more on a Sonic Character than on a Human being. Oh well *sigh*

Third... the face and the eyes :/ Hmm... I'm not that sure if I made the face right or if it's just me, but it looks weird. Not to forget that she's staring randomly in outer space *shot* Uh yeah... she's supposed to be thinking about something, but I don't know. Well uh... *starts thinking on my own*

Coming to the hair... =Amarena-Berry mentioned that it looks more like spikes when she was at my place a week ago after the DoKomi. I guess she's right, but somehow I still like it that way. At least there is some motion in them : D okay... that's a really bad excuse I know XD;

The background... is random, just like the complete picture. I tried to do a landscape background with trees and mountains, but somehow it did not fit the character. After around 10 hours of trying out several things I gave up and made this one. I personally like it better this way and yeah o o even if it is random~

Nah, anyhow, thogh I'm not that satisfied with how this turned out in the end I must say that it was a lot of fun to try out the Anime Style not even on a sketch. Well, practise leads to improvement, I guess I'll do this more often again from now on, because I'd really like to become better at drawin humans :/ So... sorry for anyone who expected a Sonic Picture (and sorry to anyone who read this damn long description, lately I can't express myself in a shorter text somehow) and who will just expect Sonic pictures from me. I'm kind of tired of Sonic lately, not just because of the games and such... I just want to try out something "new" *cough*

Oh and by the way, the Drawing Day is today lol I'm not too late : D
